Thread: How much did YOUR speed tapes cost?

i've never looted any but i traded/was given them all.
i never had to buy them i just made friends at the cave that was being constantly camped and made like a deal with them that if they loot a 2-hand speed attachment they wouldcontact me and trade me the skill tape 
that or my friend got it when he was camping.
was really great and only took 3-4 days

I also use +1 plates in composite armor, so in total I have about 23 speed. Unless you can kill high level mobs you probably won't find the skilltapes on your own, unless you camp "that" cave.
which is boring as **edit**.
only reason i camped it was it was the only way to know you will get good skill mods. cuz killing high end mobs you are not likly to get that many good skill mods unless you go to the aa'kun cave. they drop good +5 skill mods alot more often tehn ns do :/

I'm not sure how else you expect to get the enhancers, either through sheer luck or just paying for them outright. You're going to have to do one or the other, and killing nighsisters is a good way to get both at the same time. I know I was not very lucky with the drops I got(12 melee,12 int, 9 droid complex?, 25 polearm eva. seas). Again you will need to kill many of them, but then it's the same for pretty much any mob in order to actually get loot.
