I'm still sticking with my dual bladed sword idea, It is a sword because I have seen some dual blades before.. I think.
We have another where theres a very thick sword like the cleaver, which is called the Zankantou in some countries, and has devastating power and size.
1) Dual bladed sword(great accuracy, Very high dmg, Mildly slow), Long swords(slower speed), Short Swords(faster speeds), Katana(veryfast, low dmg, low ham).
Iwas thinking that the dual bladed sword should be the Ultimate sword, something that can only be equipped by a master swordsman, kind of like the jedi, and you can only get 1 schematic at a time, such as when you get master swordsman you go toan npc trainer and he gives you a schematic for the sword and when the sword schematicreaches 0uses you can go to the trainer and give theschematic to him in exchange for another schematic, the schematic should only have 2 uses, You should be able to get the schematic as much as you ike to, or maybe limit it to 2 schematics a week.
2) We need a gigantic sword like Zankantou, which is an actual sword in some countris, thicker than a cleaver, yet with devastating power and size.
Make sure you also list wether its a looted schematic or just any weapon a weaponsmith can make. The more ideas the better, devs have to choose at least a few weapons....

ummI think its best if you explain what it is, how you obtain it, what it does, wats its specialties/weaknesses

well i think there whould be alot of contraversi on the subject if it was a sword or a staff... basically its a sword from the crusades that was ment to take both the armored knight out and its horse.. so i guess in swg it would be average 10 speed and 700-1000+ damage

ya it is a polearm but its a good idea, although its from diablo lol.

Theres also some nice 2handed weapons on that site.... Legendary sword, Champion sword, Colossal sword. Not bad they sound pretty neat.

How about a katana, sort of like a ninja sword I think, and it can be made usign the same system as the one for the dual bladed one where you can only get the schematic from the trainer after a certain level, I guess it would be a pretty accurate weapon, like +15 +20 and have a moderate damage of like say 85-200 for a nice one... There could also be different kinds of katanas.

hmm... that lochamber axe in the pic from that diablo sight looks quite a bit like a bardiche

i just find it funny that our best weapon is a hammer when we are Swordsman just my opinion though

Well, fencers best weapon is a piece of plumbing so i figured we could have a weapon that wasn't a sword or axe..................or hammer.....................or.........wait, most of our cool weapons aren't swords either.
Ok , with that said, I would love to see a Vibro Morningstar. 3 big ole spiked spheres with vibro motors in them on really long chains. Uber slow but retardedly powerful. That and it would look cool.

to set it straight the thing you're talking about danteskrum is not a morning star, it's a flail. and also technically the vibro aspect of the weapons is meant more for something with a blade, as the vibrating causes the blade to cut better.
but a flail of some sorts would be quite an interesting weapon.

We need to get medieval here
Everyone likes their 2h curved sword, so why not just get a better one at higher levels ? A Dai-Katana if you like - or vibro-katana (as I recall a Dai-Katana is like a Katana only longer), could easily give us a little extra range as well. It could be fast with high damage, but would be AP0 or 1 as it lacks the weight to be a good armour piercing weapon.
A whacking great AP3 Claymore wouldn't go amiss either.
I'd like to see more weapons that aren't swords as well, like a restraint damage bullwhip, or a spiked mace/flail especially if it did electrical damage say (say it needed droid batteries to keep it charged to stop it being too overpowered )
