Finesse uses combat xp and the other three use 2handed xp, get finesse as you can and this is whatI follow:

Level in defense if you have crappy armor or cant afford any.

Level in techniques if you have good armor and you're a buff-fighter.

Level in offense if you like cool LOOKING techniques, so far I haven't found the first 2 to be of any use.

Nothing hard about it,just takes time unless you grind, but then you're wasting the purpose of the game

Level in speed and accuracy first. First and fourth line I believe. Get a scythe ASAP......Tusken fort.......Squill caves.....Geo caves......and detainment center if your a Imperial. Use good armor and buffs and spin attack multiple foes.

I assume your using a 2handed sword, if you have a decent one, thats great. You do want to worry about speed, so you can use your hammer quicker. HOWEVER, getting 2hspinattack 2 (0/0/1/x) will make you get up the speed line the fastest. Having a better area attack means everything dies quicker. Dont go up offense until last, as its not really worth it until you hit 4/4/x/x. The only attack for offense that is worth while is the last area attack, and most MSwordsman, still use the 2hspinattack that you get with 0/0/1/0.

So start out with

0/0/1/x

go to

0/4/1/x

then it doesnt much matter. The def is kinda nice if you have a noncombat second proffession. but the rest is up to you.

By now, you should be using a scythe and a power hammer depending on the target. With good armor and buffs, you can run into a group of jantas, huurtons, crazed geos, and just start spin attacking. Of course, be sure to watch your mind. BTW geo caves are your friend to finish of Swordsman.
