Thread: Whats good stats on a powerhammer? Sycthe?

Well im nearing the box that allowes me to use a scythe, i should have it either today or tomorrow, and im wondering whats a good price and stats on a scythe.
then of course im gonna need a new ph when i reach master, so i hjear ackly bones make uber hammers. Can they go into scythes? and if so, where do u get the bones.

first off, whats your stats in swordsman?
this will decide the type of stats you wud want on a scythe

Acklay bones cant be used in scythes. Read the Scythe FAQ for more info on scythes.

Ackaly bones can't go into scythes. They replace re-cores, so the only thing we have that they go into is the power hammer. If you want an acklay bone hammer, you need to be sure they have some good damage mods. 150 plus on top end is about minimum to use in a hammer as the bone hammer will also be slower that a normal hammer. The bones are looted from the acklay. The big creature at the end of the geo lab. Also the most camped spawn in the game.
For normal powerhammers, it does depend on the server, but max damage of 468-470 and 5.3 speed seems to be pretty typical of the best across the servers.
Scythes will depend on the quality of the yellow geo cubes and geo solidifying agent that you use. Basic yellow cubes and basic SA are +10 damage. You should pull a scythe with around 190-310 with those items. Higher damage cubes and paste will of course make the damage range higher. Speed on a scythe is typically 2.6-2.8.

I make 5.3 speed, and (depending on slice) up to 610 damage using base cores.
On average, I'd say 5.3 and 490-590 is average.
For a Hammer, anything over 600 is decent.
For a scythe, look for thr 415-490 range. Speed should be around 2.6 with any decent components.

Well personally i prefer a speed sliced Scythe, mainly because i have no attatchments and i want to speed cap. I Still do decent damage at master and without spending 15 mil for a +7 speed CA on gorath. i'm not the only one am i?

i go for speed rather than damage most of the time. Got a cool 1.8 speed scythe and it flies through most things. Got 2 kimos at the same time yesterday with it

I made a batch of powerhammers with a guildie weaponsmith, most came out 5.4 135-464 with 39-39 -0.55 cores I believe, fairly close to the best you can get from a regular crafted hammer, ackley bones will make dramatically better hammers. I also made Geonosian core powerhammers that came out to 5.2 148-453 with quite a bit nicer accuracy (-12 I think)
For scythes the yellow cubes and decent agents are a definate need, I believe the ones I had made were with 10-10 yellows and +10 agents came out to 2.6 184-328 and two 2.7 180-324, but one of my guildies has a set of 22-16 yellows so I'm itching to find out how the scythes and hacks will come out.
As for Executioner's Hack, mine came out 3.5 140-283 with 9600/800 green cubes.
