So why is that evryone says sword is the best for pve?

Because of the Blast damage, medium AP, good toughness, and the insane damage output.

Works not for me while fighting high-end-mobs like elders or krayts....was m-fencer with pistoleer 1043 stack(capped dodge +130) and eating aircake(+40 dodge)....never ever dodged an elder while tanking them and land some stats for my friends....one of the reasons why i droped m-fencer and stick only to the defense....
