Hey all,

Went hunting Thunes last night ... Dant Woolly hide sells for 125+ cpu at the moment on Eclipse, and I always love a money making opportunity! Obviously you need a solo group for this, although I always hunt with a friend or two. Normally I dislike solo groups, as it takes away something from the game that I used to really enjoy when I first started playing - the group hunt!! Me and my Guild often group hunt, but it is almost never that you see people forming non-solo hunting groups on Dant or Dath anymore like you used to ... which is a shame I think

What was refreshing for me was that the leader of this group was a Squad Leader! Remember those? Those people that used to yell "Form up, slimeballs!" and other things across your screen? It was so refreshing, and took me back months to when SL's and non-solo groups were the way to go (the only way to go! Soloing was practically unheard of). This was great! We need more squad leaders in the game, more non-solo hunting groups, and then perhaps Eclipse's economy can get back to something more realistic, instead of being able to make 2 million per buff session - plus a million for the hide, meat - after paying 20k for a buff from a doc that has to charge that much since the resource price is so high!

Nerf solo groups! The second M in MMORPG stands for Multiplayer! If its soloing we want, we can go play Quake ... ok, I'm finished

On another note - for those that didn't know, be careful with Thunes - they will gang up on you, dizzy, stun, blind and intimidate you and will also knock you down. Not a problem killing them for swordspeople, but something to be aware of if your armour is a bit shot!

Its sad when, now, we have to refer to groups of players hunting together as "group-groups."
