Thread: Can Swordsman solo a Krayt?

If heard peeps bragging they can solo a Krayt Dragon as a Master Swordsman. Hmmm I tried and got my ass handed to me. Am I doing something wrong or are these people just full of themselves? thanks.

full buffs including musician and dancer.. i find that you need mroe than the regular 80% kinetic rez comp armor, something like 85 or 86% res would do, synth steak, and bring some stims (should be a medic) along with canape and you can do it. need a strong powerhammer though like 650+. master brawler helps, but if you don't have that keep intimidate on him so he does half damage. and don't forget about CoB

you don't *really* need half of that, just the nov medic/stims and intimidate, 80 % kin armour is enough....the problem that arises is getting diseased but there are buffs around now

np, and no you don't have to have it... but doesn't hurt to be safe does it

nope, it sure doesn't. The thing that really pisses me off when i do krayts is when a 20 person group comes up and takes the kill from me, even though the hwole group probably would have died fighting it...

I hate that the most!!! I HATE KILL THIEVES! Anyway, when it was worth it (pearls are the same as crystals now, nobody uses scales or segments, and HS don't use tissue) I soloed kryats all the time. I could get down 3-4 in a buff (if nobody stole teh kill from me). I had standard encumerance sliced composite, doc buffs, some brandy and arisa. I have a macro that loops mind hit 2, head hit 3, intimidate 2, and stand (ncase I found a giant kryat). Worked like a charm. I had to heal every once in a while, but I just pop a stim b and move on. In my opinion u are better off going after NS. U can take them down faster, and get more/better loot. U just have to be VERY careful with them now that they have thier force powers back. Hope this helps.

dude u can solo kraytes wit a rifleman lol swordsman is a breeze i soloed kraytes and my profession was rifleman/tkm and i did all the tanking wit a rifle fun but really messed up my armor haha

yea, ive solo'd a few, made millions selling pearls back when they were worth somet. But i agree, NS are better to go after, but those dammed force power's rip ur mind to shreads, so go prepared with lots of food and buffs

yeah, the template i found that i really liked and is almost king in pve (with this template i can take any thing that doesnt have a lightsaber or a stun batton)
master brawler *speed, intim2, war2, 2hand accuracy and tougness*
master swordsmen *duh*
medic 2040 *2000 for bleed control, and 0040 for stim d's wich can heal over 1k to each stat*
tka 4004 *meditate, powerboost, and 0004 for more def*
novice scout 1000 *terain negotiation, i hunt elders alot and this is king*
80%kenetic armor
2 brandy's
1 canape
1 muan gold *for imergancy use only*
755 ph
speed cap
nuf said lol
find target
intimidate 2 till it sticks
the proceed to place a mind bleed
head hit 3 till its dead
use those tactics and you can solo any beast/npc in the game other than stun baton elders and jedi npc's *note i can take stun baton protectors just not elders lol*

oh, and for human get a stat migration to these stats
400 all stats exept mind
mind stats
1100 * to the max*
850 * with double brandy and canape you cap at 1500 so any more than this is a waste*
1100 *to the max*

soloing a kryte dragon.. now that i would love to see.
I got my scyth schem and bearly scratched it, almost died hard.
Do you have any screen shots?
What weapon did you use? legendary or something like ?

lol, it is easy to do if you are master swordsmen
use a power hammer
find krayt
make sure you are buffed
2 brandy's
1 canape
1 muan gold *just incase*
80%kenetic armor
speed tapes help
i can show you how to solo one on the flurry server, find me a krayt and i will own it for ya..... but i get to keep the loot
