For my swordsman alt I use a 2-hand curved sword on low-end stuff, just so I don't waste condition on my nice Scythe. You only get two shots at the Scythe schematic, and it seems they are becoming harder and harder to find, so you got to make the most of them.

I use the cleaver or curved on most stuff. This is to keep my scythes in good condition and that the PH is so slow and inaccurate. Unless i has a high kin resist or is higher end i keep the PH in the back-pack

Is it true that 2 Handed Curve Sword and Two Handed Cleaver, are totally useless at Master swordsman?

Is Scytche and Power Hammer the only way to go at master?

I mean... Does the others dont have any benefit, with range, speed, ap, wound %, ham costsor something like that?

Because I really dig Swordsman. I think its a cool proffesion, but what I love about it is using swords?

Just wanted to know if there are any benefits with Curved og cleaver at master!

I heard that fencer also got a problem with this.. Having their batons in first priority!

its all about strength, curved and cleaver are strong for weak mobs and general hunting. Scythes are great for low lvl kinetic mobs (rancors and such) but are much better for pvp because of speed. Power hammer is great for high lvl mobs because of blast damage. So yes, once you become master Scythe and P.Hammer are all you need anything else is just taking up space.

Sythes are good for pvp because of the modifiers (unless u have a 1k hammer with some acc seas)

Power hamers are good for pve cause of their high damage and u won't miss alot vs pve and fighting none melee players

2h cleavers are just for show , i have a 311 max damage one and it dusn't go near 500 max dam sythe . i like the grafics better do

2h cleavers are slow and dont provide enough dmg at all.

2h swords are still quite usefull even at master level. i have a few curved swords with 1.8 speed and 320 max dmg. i use these when i dont feel like wearing out my scythe.
