I am the Master of Masters. mfencer mtkm MASTER SWORDS, brawler 4440, my scythe is 2.5 454 damage, no powerup, my favorite hit is 2hheadhit3. im not a tank. im a battlecruiser. but my weapon of choice is a joke. what i need is a 2handed vibro sword, but really huge. with ap3, only makes since to me. i love my profession, and i am awesome. 2hand vibro sword, with ap3, yea makes since. best maker of scythes on ahazi, escobar, or thuy, take your pick, i worship them both, next to my scythes. hacks suck, they are wall mount oddities. may the blood on your heavy weapon, never dry

...and don't forget the Lightsaber damage type (who needs stun any more, eh?), mind fire, mind poison, mind bleed and mind disease dots on it. Let's make it 0.3 speed, just to balance the rest out.

lol i admit his post is a little hard to read *ok maybe thats a bit of an understatement* but ive allways seen the need for an ap3 SWORD. I have never understood how i can go toe to toe with the thing, and get the kill stolen by a rifleman, or any prof with decent dot weopons or commandos. Swordsman dot weopons are non existent, we have no way to bypass heavy armor, yet are expected to be the damage dealers in melee combat. You guys that are active on these boards and are speed capped are forgetting about the normal master swordie that does horrid DPS with a power hammer. Why do you think sword speed tapes cost 2-3 mil a point, and all other combat tapes are for like 300k a point or less. Its because speed is what makes the swordsman, it gives us DPS that we normally dont have.
I recently went on a trip to the death watch bunker, and was shocked at how swordsman prohibitive it is, the 80% kinetic resist mobs i can stomach, but when they have heavy ap, so your only doing 10% damage, thats a little harsh
My solution is to make a special availaible to all master brawlers, that functions as a berzerk 3, but is an "ap booster" that would allow a ph to go to ap3, and so on. but would also make the swordie more vulnerable toattack, therefore making this not a solo skill, but a skill that is used in groups when they need the damage dealer, the swordsman , or other brawler can deliver.
I also would like a SWORD, as opposed to a hammer, i really think some of you guys that think swordsman is the god of pve, take off your speed cloths, and try to solo an elder, it dosent work.

AP3 for swordman = over powered in pvp and pve. i had mention this several times before and i think most of the "knowledgable" ones in this community had accepted my argument that we do not need it. and quite frankly no profession should really be having ap3 weapons at all only high end mob.

The only way I'll agree we need an AP3 weapon is after the combat revamp but it has to be extremely slow and have a modest damage. In my opinion, we swordsfolk are good enough in PvE right now.

Back in the days when I didn't know how to be a Swordsman that well, I would agree. But all I can say is that we as swordsman are awesome. We don't need any AP3 weapons, only makes us more vulnerable to the nerf bat then we already are. I'm fine with our weapons, the curved is cool, cleaver looks cool and has decent stats, PH is awesome and scythe is really cool. Hack makes a nice ornament. Some of the axes look cool at least. I just really want them to make a sword with PH stats. That would be really really cool. And make us SWORDsman. But the PH and scythe are fine now, so why should we get new stuff that only 2 other professions have if we can already outdamage and beat them both?
