I fell in love with bothan ever since I saw it. Now I am in the position where I can have two characters, yay! So my alt is a female bothan set to the shortest I possibly can (I'm fascinated with short chars). My other character is a human, which I must say has amazing stats. The thing that really sticks out abouthumans is the ability to have 1100 focus. Since bothans are capped 600 focus, I'm wondering if there is anyway to fight in full comp at the one second speed mark without getting secondary mind buffs? I love em to death, but it's not worth to have to spend half an hour getting a mind buff before I go and fight.

I don't think 2 brandies and ahrisa will cut it either

Oh and one more thing. Have you guys ever seen those sigs that are lines of text and look like they are a part of the post?

to be able to spam special without mind cost you shall keep focus above 1500, this is definitively possible with 2 brandy and up to 3 ahrisa. As a trando, i've got similar pb with mind secundary and the only thing i do not fight without musician buff is elder ( even GDK or krayth i can do without the musician buff )

Bothan master swordsman here, no probs at all, use brandy and arisha, I tank all the time no sweat.

I'me a Bothan and I have no trouble playing a master swordsman/doc without mindbuffs. I just use 2 brandies all the time. If your using a ph that's all you need. If your using a scythe you will need to use a canape too.

I was a rifleman for a long time when all the only thing to help us was muon and we didn't use buffs or armor. Now that was fun.

You may also consider cutting down on your armor and just sticking to a 4 piece suit. (gloves, chest plate, boots, helmet) This would cut down on mind encumbrances on quite a bit. An encumbrance slice on your helmet wouldn't hurt either. But of course, this all depends on what you're fighting.
