Ok I've been playing for awhile but never stopped to question this. Whenever I use a move such as mind bleed or or headhit whatever my ham drops alot. I cannot do more than a few special moves against a opponent without losing so much ham. So what I wanted to ask was, is my armor the reason for such a huge loss in ham. My armor has tons of encumbrence and I wondered if that was why the special move cost was so high. I know this is probably a noob question but please if any of you guys know this please help out. I posted this in swordsman forum because I'm a swordsman and I don't know if this is normal for us.

Hey, my first question is, when yoiu're fighting are you buffed ? Because yes, if you aren't buffed, armor will do that to you, if you do have buffs, encombrance really isn't a factor...well except for mind costs, in that case iw ould try to get dancer / musician buffs or vasarian brandy and canape. But to answer your question solidly, armor is causing your HAM to fall dramatically.
Also, this will happen for any combat profession, not just the swordsman

even without armor it will drop your ham. nothing you can do about it. also depends on what weapon you use. scythes tend to use up your mind while hammers use up your health. just get buffed and fight with 2 brandy and 3 arisha and you should be set.
