Thread: Tuskens vs NS

Aight, so I have been trying my luck with the high level tuskens. And i can easily solo a witch doctor, observer, or executioner. My question is, can I take down an elder? I mean executioners sometimes have more HAM than elders, so they should be about an even match. Or will the better ns bleeds and force powers overwhelm me?

I am Master Swords and a Merchant, so I have little in stacked Def. The Tusken Observor is usually easy as pie..unless I lose a piece of armor or I am careless.

The Executioner makes me nervous solo, so I have only engaged him in a group.

My experience with the NS Elders has been pretty bad. The heavy, heavy bleeds are a killer if they get you in a Dizzy/KD situation. I am almost Master Medic, on the way to Nov Doc to cure that Dizzy state, so then I don't see a problem taking down an Elder. The mind pool seems to get whacked pretty hard by them, so mind buffs, brandy and an emergency Muon may be needed.

I am going to grab the highest resist armor I can buy tonight and head out and try one of these again with my higher medic skills..I was only 1/1/1/0 Medic when I tried one before...lol.

Funny you should start this thread, was wondering same thing myself, a week ago i tired an elder went down quick lol, i had tkm by my side so did he tho, today i did an observer with a cm by my side, my theory is, why solo high end stuff, it makes no sense to me. A CM makes it easy, this was my first "toughie." here's the thing when i faced the elder i didnt have master brawler, just master sowrds, now i have tk 1001 master swords and master bralwer, i had a tensile muscle thing which made my speed 90 whihc is close to capped on a 5.3 speed hammer with 700 dmg. And they only have 35% resist to blast. Problem is only 2k creds lol.

The thing I dont get is how can you judge which is harder. I mean, we really need some vet swordsmen to tell this strait up. Its odd too, since the tusken executioner's HAM is higher than an elder, but are its bleeds less frequent, less powerfull, and what are the average hits by each? Is there a thread anywhere with this type of information?

I can tell you that..well not the damages, but the force powers are the difference. The NS hits harder and faster. The Tusken are less of a threat at melee than an NS.

Ns are probally a littele harder if any harder, you could take em, just cure the bleeds they give you, can be nasty.
I dont notice a difference in ns bleeds and tuskan bleeds but the force powers can hurt you but at novice doc. wont do to much

But if you are out of range of a tuskan, its 1 or 2 shot kill with their rifle

Once you get one of the high level tuskens in melee range, theyre almost easy. Watch the bleeds, and keep them intimidated and its no problem to take them down. Elders....on the other hand....can and will whipe you all over the floor. I've been one shot incapped by LS damage attacks, had 1000 tick bleeds applied to me. Its almost obnoxious. So yah...tuskens = weak NS = not weak.

I solo Elders all the time, just keep them Intimidated and keep the bleeds under control. May take awhile.
