Thread: Are ackley hammers realy that good?

I went to a shop a while ago, there was a vendor with Melee weapons and a vendor with Special weapons.
In the melee vendor:
Power Hammer 230-450 Dmg 5.3 speed -15k
In the special weapon vendor:
Ackley Power Hammer 250-470 Dmg 5.9 speed -750k
So erm, the ackley costs an awfull lot more than the normal hammer. But it only does a little more damage and it is even slower...

that hammer was made with a base bone. they aren't worth it, but one of my hammers was made with a 150 max damage bone and it's around 800 damage with PUp, and that is definately worth it.

wow, you guys have crappy PHs on your server 
our base/non-sliced are 475ish damage usually for around 10k
Most base bone PH are under 100k here too
(on a side note)
it's all about the bones... a guildie of mine had some 150MIN 300+MAX damage bones that he just had made into a PH... was around 790damage UNSLICED O_O... he got a 30% damage slice (lucky bastage) so now he's sitting on a 1k unpuped hammer
trying to figure out a way to 'borrow' it =P
so I'd say yes, they're worth it if they're good bones for a good price. The base bone ones you listed are definitely not worth it though.

i sell base bone powerhammers for 80k if they get a damage slice.
most people dont realise that a 65/65 bone will only add 12 to both min and max.
oh and my hammer is 450 min 1390 max unpowered up

150-300 ... wow long time dont see such cool bones.... my based 65-65 hammer after 32% damage slice give 792 upPoped

Crap. Who do I have to rob to get a nice PH. I finally got a decent sliced one before I quite the game a few months back,
219-809 w/pu
But like an idiot I didn't repair it in time, and it lost some damage, now it's 219-799 w/pu. But I got that hammer before it got sliced for 10k. I'd like to buy a case of them somewhere....lol. I don't think i'll ever get one of those uber PH's with over 900 max damage. That be a dream come true.

I had a PH that was made with 80/85 bones and gota 29% dmg slice. Its around 810 after being sliced. I personally like my 500 dmg Scythe better....but thats just me
