That would be frickin awesome if we could take a dual bladed sword, cause you actually have to use two hands to hold it right ... right? anyways that would be hellla sick and this could be one of our new weapons and they can have really high dmg and accuracy

Sound a lot better than dual-wield, as this is something that is actually Heavy Swordsmanish.

I like this idea, but to be honest, it's probably more a polearm than a heavy sword and should really go to pikeman instead.
I just don't think our blades are scary enough, we need something the size of Nightmare's sword from Soul Calibur or Mitsurugi's Damascus Blade, that ought to put the willies up 'em

2 handed = 2 hands
dual blades = 2 blades
pikeman = 1 contineus pike in two hands
dual swords = 1 sword in each hand = 2 swords
probably just me being silly but i think that would be best suited to swordsman not pikeman.

I think it would be appropriate for swordsman. To me, polearm implies ranged melee attacks. A double blade doesn't give you much more range than a regular sword unless you intent to hold one of the blade ends...

Consider the dual bladed saber used by Darth Maul in Episode I, the fighting style was more akin to fighting with a staff, not a sword at all, that's why I suggest it belongs with pikeman, who do use staffs as well as things like halberds.

maybe if we got a sword that had a sectioned blade , where it split off into three partskind of like: \|/
that would be a weapon for looks, and damage (mind you the accuracy would be like the powerhammer because of the weight of the blade, as well as the way the blade is sectioned, it wouldnt be as accurate as a single blade like the cleaver)

what you're talking about is a long weapon, like a staff, that you wield by attacking with either end... like a staff.
I'm afraid this is a polearm you're hoping for, just look at all the animations we get and picture them done with a blade on the other end of the handle as well. If you're suicidal you can do that at home, those moves with a double-bladed sword.
Now look at the pikeman animations for a metal staff and picture them down with a double blade instead of a piece of wood.
If that doesn't make more sense you may want to reconsider your profession

dual bladed sword just implies a sword with 2 blades.... sure sure one on each end of a stick is for pike men... but a sword with bothblades offa one end would be more for us... Imagine a double bladed CLEAVER ... double the min damage and wound chance... OWWWwwwwwWWwww.
