Thread: Another Rancor Tooth quesion

Been a swordsmen for awhile now, and I know I've read through various threads about how rancor teeth are generally worse for swords than improvements. BUT, I was out on Dath today getting some avian meat, and I killed a random Enraged Rancor, got 6 Teeth with 100max damage. Easily the best I've owned, though I haven't gone out of my way to acquire them. Now, the question, what stats would a Rancor Tooth have to have to make it worthwhile??

After I found a loot of these teeth I was ecstatic.

I thought they'd make awesome swords. The swords came out looking like a newbie smith had made them (the smith I used had 12 points and used very good resources). Basically to make a good weapon out of a Rancor Tooth the loot needs to be (Exceptional) or (Legendary).

I had some +90s that I thought were good too. boy was I wrong. A 2 handed curved sword came out at 3.5 speed and 276 max damage with like 60.85.60 hams and terrible range modifiers. what a disappointment
