..now that warcry has been changed?
I only really used warcry and intimidate on large mobs like krayts, but I fought krayts ALOT.
Lunge2 I use constantly, but is master brawler (and all the pre-reqs) worth keeping for a kd that rarely seemed to work on tough mobs?
I'm still something of a noob swordsman (only for about a month) and I'd like to see what the vets are gonna do now with master brawler.

personally i'm going to keep master brawler. because lunge2 helps even if it knocks the thing down long enough to get one or two good hits in, and then inimidate2 is a savior because it keeps the thing you're attacking from dodge/block/counterattack as well as it halves their damage... now all we need is a stun attack and we would be set for hitting things with high defenses.

I'm dropping it. Intimidate 2 is the sole reason why it's still any good, but I don't think it's worth it. Those skill points could get you farther elsewhere, IMO.

I'm keepingMB forintimidate2, lunge2,and the +5 speed. WC2 was my favorite for tanking the big stuff. Now that it's nerfed, I'm looking for something else.So far I have been playing around with unarmedstun1 and it's great, it seems to stack along with intimidate, reducing their damage to laughable levels. I'm going up the TK power tech line just so I can have a shot at applying this state every 1.0s.Then I'll go after some nasties and see if I can make it stick enough to work, or if they resist it too much. One thing appears certain:with the WC2 nerf, it is all the moreessential to have uber armor.

I am sorry, while I recognize the value of a 20 second delay, think about it. If you took Master Brawler solely to get Warcry2, what you are saying is that you spent an a additional 48 points to get 10 more seconds of delay over Warcry1. That just does not make sense to me.
Personally, I am not giving it up. I am a Master Rifleman anda Master Swordsman. I can dizzy the crap out of things, and I can change their posture up or down, but even if I can dizzy them, I cannot achievea dizzy/KD with any certainty because neither profession has a KnockDown move. Master Brawler gives me that with Lunge2. To me, that move is worth its weight in gold. But, still, I do not know that I would spend 48 points JUST for a KD move.
But you are not just getting one move with those 48 points. With Master Brawler, you get Warcry2 (not completely useless even now), Intimidate2, as well as Lunge2. You also get +5 to speed, +20 to Warcry and Intimidate, and +5 to melee defense. Additionally, you get access to additional weapons (I carry a looted Gaffi Stick with a descent health bleed on it), an additional dizzy attack (1HDizzyHit), two stun attacks (unarmed and polearm), and a blind attack (unarmed). You also get attacks to target the Health and Action pools. (You also get Berserk2, but I never use it.) Finally, I can use Lunge2 with any of the brawler weapons I can use.
Granted, I use Intimidate2, Warcry2, and Lunge2 the most out of all that (except the passive bonuses, obviously), but it is not like Warcry was the only thing worth having in Master Brawler.
Besides, while delaying a large critter for 20 seconds is nice, dropping a Tusken with Lunge2 and watching a +8300 floaty damage drift off of his lifeless body after following it with a Hit3 has a satisfaction all of its own.
I am not giving it up.

I'm gonna prolly drop it and pick up the meditation line from tka, simply because my server is overrun with CMs, and i need a way to ditch the poison.

I am undecided. I guess eventually I will pick a profession to add to my Master Heavy Swordsman / Master Brawler / Scout 3/0/4/0 / Medic 3/0/4/0 (Stim D addict). I have been toying with the idea of Mastering Rifleman, but don't know if that is really for me or not.
