Hi friends...
Im starting the way to Swordman... not grinding at all, just to enjoy the proffesion as i enjoyed before rifleman and CH...
I see that this forum lacks of a proper guide or FAQ (at least sticked at the top) to find out the most important questions a noob swordman can have (ovbiously as i am a master rifleman i know a lot of basics, but still i need a lot of help). So here are the questions that i would like to have solved...
1) Stat migration: how i prepare my avatar for the fight?
2) Equipment: what do i have to buy in the different levels?
2a) weapons?
2b) armor?
2c) spice?
2d) food?
2e) power ups? medpacks are a must i know...
3) Swordman trainers?
4) Swordman Specials: costs, damage multipliers, speed increases? a table like in other profesions?
5) Brawler tree:
5a) weapons to use and when, which specials are useful, wich ones are not?
5b) grinding places
5c) Tactics (warcry, intimidate...)?
6) Swordman Novice:
6a) trees to follow to master?
6b) Tactics, macros and a guide to fight different mobs...
6c) Scythe vs Powerhammer? a scythe guide is a need, just basics...
6d) grinding places (yes, quenkers!!)
6e) Armor atattchmnts and skill tapes... are they useful?
7) Master Swordman
7a) hunting powerful mobs
7b) PVP tactics
8) Dabbling... what i need to do to increase defense, attack, to be more powerful?
Well guys, i think that all you masters and the correspondent of this forum will help a lot on this...
I will certainly appreciate it a lot
Thanks Guys
cheers!!!!!!

1.) well in order to level effectivley in my opinion any combat prof you will need buffs and brandy,,, However If you cannot fight buffed all the time then there is a few things you can do. It really all depends on your race,,, but you will want high regenerations on your secondarys of action and health,,, the actually health and action mod will not need to be as high. Also your mind can be dealt with brandy ,,, one crate of 400+ str brandy can give you like 870 mind buffs and it will last you for a long time,,, HAM migration really depends on your supporting profs,,, email me if you need details,,
2a.) you will need a heavy axe to start,, you can find a good one with like slow 4.0 speed or so and like 70-150 dmg or so,,, it will be short lived since leveling is fast even on chubas or spineflaps,,, Then the two handed axe,,, then Curved sword,,, the cleaver because of sped and dmg is kinda useless compared to the curved sword,,,, a good curved sword with a speed slice should look like 1.9 speed and 70-240 dmg,, medium AP ,,, from there you can get a scythe if you get the schematic or make one,,, and at master most use their power hammer,, blast dmg,, since hammers with a slice can reach and pass 600 dmg,, mine is 5.3 speed and 596 dmg with no power up,,,
2b armor well if you are going full buffs you can use composited,, still think about encumbrance slicing,,, if not then worry about hams and go with a a good 70% resist kinetic ubesse, sicne most of your targets will be melee,,
2c. i carry one nuetron and one moun on me in hotbar form in all times for those just in case situations,,
2d. Brandy maybe some canape
2e, power ups can help in times but for leveling i notice i burn through them fast,,,
3. i got to the one in my city hehe
4. I dont know of a table nad I cant find one, but as a quick speed cap on it,,, your best attack will be areaattack 3 eventually,, the mind hits do mind bleeds,, head hits do mind dmg,,, two handed melee hit is like a mixed ham dmg,,, spin attack is like that but with AE ad a tad less dmg but great for multi targets,,, the area effect attack 1 and 2 are state effects but weak dmg three like i said before is the best,, also unlike most profs almost all of our specials work,,, and all of the higher level specials acutally do more dmg then the ones below them,, hehe
5. a. weapons i already outlined in order
b. I started in the newbie fields gnort, chuba spineflap,, then moved onto kaduus one you get the like third box you can deal out like 700 dmg a swing so you can pretty much with a buff go wehrever you liek best,, althought accuracy can be tough so dont go to high levels,, once you get into the sword tree, with a buff you can stand next to a nest on yavin or dant or anythign and just spam spin attacks and rack up the xp,,, warcry is usefull and it may help to lay on an intimidate before you start fighting just for the sake of getting hit less,
6. trees to foloow,,, umm you may want to grab the speed bonus in the second tree and then accuracy in the combat xp tree of finesse ASAP,, they are in the second box of both,,, then level the first tree to get the two handed area attack 3 attack,, it is really good,,, can level fast,,, as for tactics,, swing away,,, you will be surprised how powerful you really are,,, shhh its a secret,,
6c,,, scythe vs power hammer is situational,,, if it is high blast resist pull out that scythe and swing away,, i mean I have seen scythes hit high 400's in dmg and super low speeds but the power hammer is blast dmg and is more effective on most targets,,, with dmg on one made with advanced componeted or looted items reaching into the 700's,,, you can do soem real nasty dmg,, at master your accuracy and speed mods are great eought to use this weapon effectivly,,, but a few skill tapes wouldnt hurt,,, for the scythe to get one you need a schematice,,, then either two looted sword cores,,, or sword core schematic,,, 3 power cubes and solidifyers hehe,,,
6eonly accuracy and speed skill tapes work,,
gotta run for now,, hope this helped and best of luck
