Thread: Anyone want to take a stab at what new weapons will be added?
I don't care what new weapons go in, but I would like to see a hefty heavy armour piercing sword (something a LOT scarier than the scythe) and a battleaxe or other weapon that does another type of damage, electrical or heat/cold, or perhaps even a bullwhip/cat-o-nine tails type deal that does restraint damage.

I'd pay a female Master Heavy Swordsman to /duel me using a whip or cat-o-nine tails. I think there'd be a WHOLE new economy set up for stuff like that.

SHUT UP ALLREADY AND ADAPT....
Youve got evrey other damage covered ..why piisss and moaan about the one thing that gets through.... 9 outta 10 isnt bad....specually at 90%!!!! cmon that armor is waaaaay over powered to evreyone who DOESNT have acess to stun... witch is FAR MORE than the people who do.

I have to agree. The problem is not that Swordsman does not have a Stun weapon. The problem is that armor is too powerful. People can get buffed and armored and run around as if they have nothing to fear. Then they encounter a Rifleman with a Jawa, a Pistoleer with a Genosian Blaster, or a Fencer with a Stun baton and, suddenly, they are not blocking damage anymore and their bubble breaks. So they call nerf on the profession that has the damage type they do not protect against.
In my opinion, all armor should have multiple weaknesses. If you can get 90% blast or energy protection, then you have Stun and Heat, or Cold and Kinetic vulnerabilities. Something that makes you have to be concerned about something. And there should be a cap on the overall protection that armor can give you. Maybe you can get 50% protection on all protected stats, but if you take 90% on a stat, one of the other protected stats has to be 10%.
The problem is the armor, not the weapons.
