agree the only damage tapes for melee that work are unarmed.

They don't presently work, as they were taken out in beta, but with the combat rebalance coming up, who knows what will happen ?

Stash 'em under your mattress and wait and see is my advice.

I seriously doubt the damage tapes will ever work, because we cause enough damage WITHOUT tapes. TKAs need it, because they have no weapon (or a very weak one) modifying their stats. So it's either unarmed damage as a skill, or a 50x modifier on their specials.

We do enough damage NOW, but who's to say how the combat rebalance will affect our damage output ?
