Thread: High Level NPC Loot, What to kill?

Ok i need to know what to kill for loot, Now my favorite thing to kill is NS, but what do they drop?

Nightsisters can drop the following:
1. Nightsister armor layers
2. Nightsister armor shards
3. Heavy duty leather
4. Heavy duty clasps
5. Nightsister lance
6. Vibro axes
7. Vibro lances
8. All other loot
While they can drop some very nice SEA's and other items (legendary and exceptional versions of things) the drop rate on these is most likely lower compared to mobs of a similar level due to their nighsister only loot. That's my theory at least cause 99% of the time if I loot something from them it's gonna be #1-7.

Well i saw while searching through the forums the other day someone had looted a belt off a nightsister elder which was 10 combat medice experimentation 14 terrain negotiation and 23 2 handed speed. However other than a fairly good DOT long vibro axe that i looted i haven't gotten anything nearly that good yet. Did loot an attachment with 7 rifle aiming and 13 droid assembly off of Nyax. Granted you'd have to be a DE but still a good bonus even if it is to a skill useless to me but his respawn time sux. I go with elders and protectors

you should do a lot more NS... everything higher then/including initiate can drop very good...

/agree I go out to the various NS spots on Dath and just kill everything I see. By far my favorites are the Night Sister Rangers. They are easy as hell (20k+ HAM and only 35% kinetic resist) and they tend to drop things more than other NS do, at least for me they do. But I don't ignore the others ones. I kill everything I see! LOL. The Elders can drop good stuff, but they're just so boring to kill.... damn that 300k HAM.
/agree as well.
I find spellweavers drop the best myself, the lesser ones all I ever seem to get is leather and clasps (dirty nightsister dominatrixes). I've never looted anything worth the 30 minute slug fest off an elder, so I've pretty much given them up.

Routinely I see stuff drop from Rangers, Spellweavers, and Stalkers. Everything else (besides Elders since I haven't fought them, and especially Protectors which are worthless) drop nothing worth the effort when I loot them.

Not entirely true. Protectors can be a royal pain in the ass sometimes, but I do get stuff off of aboutathirdof them. 33% drop rate is much better than anything else. Rangers, Spellweavers, and Stalkers usually take about 6 - 10 kills to get loot. But they are much easier, especially the Rangers.
