Once you are a jedi, your race doesn't factor in nearly as much as it does right now. Your defenses will be the same as any other jedi with your template. The only hinderance is some of the clothes you can wear to put clothing attachments into. If this were me i'd wait out for the alt but if it really bothers you that much it's ultimately up to you.

Okay, thank you. I think I'll stick with the Wookiee character. : ]

As a furball, you will be of less use to the Empire, so I suggest that you switch

Hey guys, since I'm a Swordsman I thought this would be a reasonable place to say something like this..
Alright, I'm a Wookiee, Force Sensitive, just about 3 months away from Jedi. Master Swordsman/Teras Kasi Master/4xxx Doctor. Now, I've gotten pretty far in the game and everything but I have one BIG problem, I hate being a Wookiee. The lack of clothing options, the lack of Armor options, things like that sort of ruin the experience for me. Whenever I bring this up to a freind they just say restart my character and be like a Human. I wanna do that but it would be a lot of work to get FS, My template, and everything back.
And I know a lot of you are thinking "Well your only three months away from being a Jedi, just wait to get your alt." But thats the problem, when I'm a Jedi I'll be a Wookiee Jedi, and it still wont really make the clothing better, choice of defense, and it wont help the fact that I get made fun of on a regular basis for being a Wookiee.
So, I guess what I'm saying is.. I can't decide for myself on this one and I was wondering if maybe you guys could.
Thanks.

wookiees are cool man. i feel your pain about the lack of clothing though. on tempest i have a wookiee char, but if i go jedi, it will probably be on my human on eclipse.
i say stay with it, because it is a long ways to go back, now.
