At the moment, Blair and Q are BOTH out of the office, so I'm trying to hold down the fort, but as you know,I don't get to devote 100% of my time to SWG anymore. We're still interviewing community rep candidates.I don't know where the 2nd and 3rd reports are--I don't get them directly, so I will need to inquire. I do know that after the first batch, we definitely concluded that we can't handle weekly reports.I also don't know where terminals for TC are.

...i won't comment this and i don't blame it on Holo....

but right now the only difference between me and you guys communicationwise is a blue handle and a fancy title...something i would have no problem with to live without.

I still believe in the correspondant program and that it might work some day, but for now it doesn't and at present stage, as much as i like doing it, i don't feel like going on collecting stuff, work on getting it together and then send it out to into the depths of space where it will disappear in a black hole.

There is no visible structure and organization at all in what the Devs do these days.

Spontanious posts, mostly by Holo, appearing all of a sudden and that's about it communicationwise regarding issues.

Right now i have split feelings: the patch seems to have brought some changes which certainly recquire feedback from our sidethat needs to be heard but i also absolutely don't feel like getting all the stuff nicely together again for them and then see us being rewarded with perfect quietness, disrespect, lack of courtesy, disorganization...basically nothing.

I can live without my blue name...i can live without my fancy title....i can live without "the 6th personal issue".....as long as they start fullfilling their part of the correspondent "deal".

There is valuable work being done right now...by me...by you...and all the other forums.

If they don't feel like acknowledging and respecting itand simply create a vacuum of silence....fine !

If they are not able to admit that they might have overestimated themselves and started the program to hastily and early and don't dare for what reason ever, putting it oficially on hold....fine!

...but without me.

There are plenty of other more timesaving ways to make myself / ourselvesnot heard.

Give me a night to sleep over it please and i will let you know.

I don't want to drop you guys and dishonour your work but right now i'm not any more use to you than a cut phoneline.

I played DAoC for 2 years. And they had the same thing there. Called Team Leaders. They had one for each class. These people devoted hours on hours of testing new skills and abilities, providing factual feedback, only to be shoved off because Mythic didnt care. It's just a PR thing. Make someone be in direct contact with them about problems for a certain class, to make it look like there problems are being heard. Well, the answer that always comes from them is "We are still looking into the problem" and thats basically all we ever got.

And thats all i saw here. You want to know what really gets heard? Those thousands of whine and nerf calling threads. Thats the only real way to make them do what you want. And its always the wrong thing to do.

Frankly i don't blame you for feeling unheard. You were probably never meant to anyways. Like i said, its just a way to make us feel like we are being heard when that email you send them gets printed out and sits in the developers inbox on his office desk for eternity just incase they need a referance.

QwanSolo hit it on the head with DAoC, and SWG is making the same mistake. In both cases, player classreps were named, but their feedback did not seem to be used effectively. In all fairness, DAoC was far worse about this than SWG seems to be (so far). Still, SWG is far too weak in this category as well. This is not the first correspondent to get frustrated with the devs and others have put forth similar statements. This is very disturbing, yet not totally unexpected, given the devs' history (cross-reference "the utter failure of beta" for details).

Devs, take note of this simple fact: When you can't keep the correspondants happy, you won't be able to keep the players happy either.

Here is what I've learned from MMORPG's:
1) Pet classes rule all - get someone else to do your work for you.
2) Release substandard product and fix it as you go.
3) The only real deterrent to cheating is ethics.
4) Analytical skills are often not required to be a game developer.

That's a good question. Probablypeople applyingwill have to go through some nerve, stress and patience tests first.

Anyway...it's another day and i decided to go on.

Of course we still don't know how often they want to hear from us now but i'm simply going to go on and pretend that it's monthly and as it's been almost a month now since our last set of issues i thought of letting the patch sink in for another week from today and then send in the next set of issues.

I don't want to be told eventually that we never raised our voices or mentioned a certain issue.

Thanks for your understanding

Have a great day and a nice weekend

Only TNX to u Goreki

And a VAFFANCULO at this Devs ...

Leave your correspondant work ... cos is almos useless, a waste of time. It's incredible check that holo put question and anwer over the SWG discussion (about melee of course) w/o answer or ask in the melee boards.

We have to do a massive E-Mail petition VS Holocron, addressed to the SOE's managment.

I want to know who is in charge of management at SOE because he's obviously a moron. Common sense would be that you find someone to fill a position first and then move the person out of that position. Why does it take 3 weeks to find someone to send out e-mails? This is not exactly rocket science we're talking about. Not to mention, with this sort of poor management, they obviously didn't have very high standards in the past. So, what exactly are they waiting for, a harvard degree?

Gorecki,

I believe that all of us value what you have done for us so far. With the frustration I feel from playing a Swordsman/ CH, I know you must go through hell putting up with all us and the devs.

All I can really say is thanks

Its obvious that they are very disconnected from the community. I wish you well and thank you for your hard work. Everyone has spoken so eloquently that this is the best I could come up with..

Thx..
