Well i just dropped Pistoleer and decided to take up swordsman. Seems it like it will be fun fughting besides my pets.

Went out Grinding last night and Got 2 Handed 4, and almost at novice Swordsman now.

I bought a bunch of weapons, bu the Power hammer has -40 to hit at all ranges. Is this normal ? Or is this weapon bugged.

If this is normal, how often do you hit with one ?

-40 is pre-patch weapon.
-31 is post-patch.

dont bother with Power Hammer until you get more speed and accuracy, you will miss like crazy.

It is normal. The thing is, when you get high enough in the Swordsman class, your accuracy bonuses are supposed to counteract the negative value. They are trying to keep low level guys from useing the harder htitting weapons.

I can't give you a hit percentage. I am an apprentice polearm specialsit right now. Our weapons are just as bad or worse. I am thinking of taking up swordsman though. I just realized that it is a better match for a rifleman as they both hit the same pool, and being a Wookie I decided it was time to get me a bowcaster :>

Ok well i have enough Combat banked to get Advanced Sword Finese which will give me a +70 To hit as soon as i hit Swordsman (40 From brawler, 10 From novice and 20 From Finese).

So with +70 To Hit and -32 Penalty how bad will it be ??

2nd... Don't buy weapons from Nador on Naboo. I had no idea these weapons were pre patch, and he's still selling them. What a scammer.

why scammer? He just sells what he build and its not junk just becouse its not the best. I still have my pre-patch 124-554/6.0 Hammer and use it sometimes.

and to your accuracy, you will still miss a lot. Heck, at master swordsman i still miss often. Curved sword is better in most cases.
I like my Power Hammer for its low mind usage, becouse i am doc and can enchance everything except mind. But would switch to curved sword the day i drop docs enchances.

Try to find a weaponsmith who actually cares about making melee weapons. Most weaponsmiths just made the new commando weapons after Thursday's patch and haven't given their power hammers a second thought.

Any weaponsmith who's made a new schematic since the patch should have noticeably better speed/damage stats than the competition. One of the most-loved weaponsmiths on our server is STILL selling 6.0 speed power hammers... I've gone through three more models (soon to be a fourth) since then.

The hammers I'm going to start making tonight (saving a couple for myself of course) will have a range mod of -28. We got some new good UT ditanium steel on Radiant that left me with an experimenation point which I put into range.

kammi on Lowca is showing Swrodsman some love...............but bring money, her stuff is quality made and not cheap................
