I just became a swordsman and I just wanted to say that its' pretty **edit** weak that one of our boxes has nothing in it at all. especially for 120,000 combat pts.Sorry for wasting space. Just pretty weak that this box is empty and most of the swordsman tree has very little in it.

"We were in the middle of a goddamn reptile zoo, and someone was giving booze to these animals."

"Please, Tell me about those f***ing golf shoes man!"

"Did you see what god just did to us man???"
"God didn't do that, you did. You're a f***ing narcotics agent i knew it."

yeah, it sucks spending 120k on that empty box. But getting master was worth it. Just suck it up and endure the pain. The dev's might do something about it later, but their attention span is about that of a gnat so don't hold your breath.

It does kind of stink, but the way I think of it Mind Hit 2 and ESPECIALLY the ability to stack the two bleeds is worth paying two boxes for.

If I land Mind Hit 1 and 2 on someone they willfall unless they have at least 2 people doing first aid on them immediately, it is that strong. And that's just with a curved sword. With a power hammer, guarenteed incapacitation.

OK, then here's the followup:

For people who don't engage in PvP such as myself, is it worth it to even go above intermediate finesse if we're not planning to go for master? In the future I'll probably be dropping master weaponsmith to go into another combat class (possibly commando).

I'm a Rodian, so I get a 2h accuracy bonus. I also prefer to use the 2H curved sword (+8 range mod) in most situations, and when I use a Power Hammer, I use one with all extra experimentation points put into range (the ones I make have -28 mods, get even better when I use a powerup).

Is the mindhit2 and the accuracy bonus really worth spending so many generic combat XP?
