Thread: Red Crystal?

I looted a red crystal the other day and when I exmanied it I noticed it mentioned it was used for a melee weapon. Does snyone know what this red crystal does or if it is worth anything?

I believe its one of the components used for a light saber............that and the Krayt Dragon pearl............
