Swordsman Archive

I'm already a master rifleman and thinking of mastering swordsman too. The second line seems tempting with mind hits and speed increases but I'm thinking it will be easier to level when I can do more area attack damages. Also wondering if dabbling wouldn't be better than mastering and then getting the tka meditation line so I can buff myself. Any thoughts and advice are much appreciated.

if you're just gonna dabble, then you want the speed tree. if you have enough for 2 trees, go for spd and the finesse i would think. that mindhit2 is the best attack we have atm (getting nerfed though to stop at 1 hp)

I just tlalked to a buddy who will be mastering soon... he said get the speed tree 0400 and defnse 1, so 0410, and the finesee column is great too.... if you have the combat xp... so he said after 0414... the rest is just extra. i found the same was true with pikeman when i was working on that.

Thanks for the advice ... I'm now going up the 2nd line and at 0-3-1-1. Still planning on mastering but not in a big hurry. Will probably go up 3rd line next and save first for last. If anyone with more experience has advice its much appreciated.

Its interesting so see some of the other progression paths taken. I must be an oddball because I went up the Offense line first for the AoE attacks. Maybe that's because I'm a Ranger so I like to kill as many creatures as I can in as few blows as possible.
