Best weapon is a 2h Curved Sword (looks like a Katana), but the Power Hammer is what we use for bleed attacks.

i dont know about the sword being the best... i have a two hand curved by gnosis, and i have a powerhammer by kari, a friend if mine sliced it and it has a 3.9 speed, i have one that is at 3.6 i am saving for master, but i attack just about as fast as my curved sword.

im kinda pulled inbetween the two on which i like more

i have a 3.4 speed 2hcurved sword that i used a rancor tooth on , but it has 385 dmg (sliced) and i can drop virtually anything with it, ham costs a bitch with the speed that i attack at, when using specials

and i have my allpowerful thor hammer with 5.5 spd, and 666dmg , and it'll probably take anyone without a whole heap of meelee defense down in one hit. but the spd's a bitch even at master 2 hand.

for me theirs no fav weapon, just one's that i use for different circumstances. power hammer is my bleeder and curved is my finisher i guess

Ditto, 700+ max power hammer for massive bleeds and 380+ sword for slicin them to bits. If a mob has massive kinetic or blast resistance that could alter the plan though. Cleavers can be ok if the minimum damage on a curved bothers you... no other weapons come close.

This is a messed up class.

Was thinking of joining it till I saw that I don't get to use a sword as the best weapon.

Hmmm... what on earth was I thinking?

My fav has to be the hammer, I use it 80% of the time I would say. Ya got to love killin tuskan snipers in one hit and night sister sentrys in two! The hammer hits hard baby!

That dirty,

The certification for the two-handed curved sword is at two-hand 2 in brawler. Just because it is gained so early doesn't mean it isn't good.

I have only used the 2h curved sword (since getting certification). I received one as a gift from a friend that was sliced with a speed of 1.6. Max damage in mid 200's. I know it doesn't compete with the Powerhammer's damage, but they are pretty slow.

By the way, I have only been playing for a short time so I have yet to pick up a powerhammer. I could, but it just doesn't fit the character I am playing. So I will defer to more experienced players comments reguarding this issue.

I tend to use both hammers and 2h curved swords. Depends on the creatures I am hunting. I definitely go through more swords than hammers though, because of the sword's faster speed they wear down faster.
