I was wondering what is better, a faster 2h sword that does less damge or a slower Hammer or Axe that does more damage? Is it just a matter of preference or is there an advantage to one or the other? Thanks for any feed back.

It's mostly a matter of preference but there a couple things you might consider depending on your other professions.

1- If you are a Scout or Ranger, your trap throwing speed will be affected by the speed of your weapon, i.e. slower trap throwing for slower weapons.

2- If you are a Medic the same delay will affect you when you try to heal yourself or others in battle.
