i have been killing things and i am not getting any exp at all, i have killed three fambaa today and have only gotten exp from one of them, or i killed a vine rawl and yet again nothing. i also have missed out on exp from killing some narglach.

also ifibleed something and keep hitting its mind, andget incaped, when it bleeds to death i havent gotten exp from the kill, has this happened to other swordsmen?

Two possibilities I know of:

1) Your xp is capped (twice the amount of xp you need for the next box in Swordsman)

2) You are bugged, and your experience messages don't display, but you still get the experience...check the numbers under Ctrl-S

i have the experience monitor running in the bottom corner of my screen, and i checked it before i posted, i didnt notice a change, but i possibly could be wrong. but i'm far from capped on exp, i am still half way to expert finesse...

ahh.. that happened to another some weeks ago.. not sure what the outcome was.. do a search maybe and find that person.

Another possible thing is if your just using my bleed. You don't recieve any credit for bleed damge. So make sure to atleast get one hit in.

Are you looking at expert sword finesse to see how much two-hand exp you are getting? The sword finesse tree uses combat exp, rather than 2-hand exp. How much two-hand exp do you have, and do you view an appreciable change when you view the offense, techniques, or defensive boxes?

I remember a short wkile ago someone claimed they were not getting the proper amount of 2-hand exp, only 10% of what they thought theyshoud begetting. It turns out that this person was looking at the finesse tree to gauge how much two-hand exp they were getting, but didn't realize that the finesse tree uses combat exp.

i screwed up... i meant to say expert offense... oops. thanks for pointing that you. i'm actuaually half way to master finesse...
