did the devs hint to it or sumthing, or confirm it?

i personally believe its a horse-s*it idea. can you imagine a master swordsman or fencer wielding two weapons at once. way unbalancing. for all these crackers who are saying that swordsman should get it cause we have the strength to wield 2 swords, and the fencers dont, i got sumthin to tell ya. fencer is more about finesse, yes, and less about strength, yes, but a single handed sword in real life ways like 2 to 3 pounds, sometimes less. point is it really doesnt take a lot of strength at all, just practice, speed, and a deep understanding of fencing. a swordsman weapons in real life (katana weighs about 4 to 5 pounds) is also light, and could be dual wielded, but not so for the power hammer.

so if anyone gets dual wielding (god forbid) let it be both of us, but for us only with katanas and cleavers.

I confirm once again: ...those polls are nothing the Devs have asked me to do.

They are about me and my work on this board, about trying new things out, about the try of being an objective correspondent, about finding subjects which often return and there is no common agreement about, about not ignoring a group of people because they have a different opinion.....

To make it short: i'm trying to do my "job" (a fun job btw)

My apologies if i wasn't clear enough in pointing out that this was personally motivated and didn't have to do anything with the Devs... /bow

...i'm still learning

Have a nice end of day

I'm almost positive that if they did implement dual-wielding into the game that they would introduce new weapon sets such as a two sword set (King of like you get both gloves on one item), and not using to curved swords or power hammers.

You should try reading all of Gorecki's posts, APEist.

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=swordsman&message.id=8886

He states there that the polls have nothing to do with the Devs.

dual wielding would be good fun, take it or leave it is my opinion............ we may not get it at all but there is no harm in asking for our views on it is there?

as long as everything else gets fixed first then maybe it would be something to look at doing in the future, just give me a huge evil looking sword that does some mad damage and I'll be happy!

hmmm....just a technical question to make sure the "sticking"-function works as intended: the above mentioned thread is sticking with the polls themselves on top of the first page, or is it not ? (...i don't trust these boards )

Thanks

I think you're doing an excellent job Gorecki. These are great ideas to bring reform to our class. I wonder though, perhaps we could REALLY prioritize of turning the melee classes into the tanks of the game? Maybe this isn't such a big issue for other people, but I really think that 2HS, TKA, etc. etc. are the ones who should be tanking Krayts, not Graul Maulers and At-Sts.
