In order to be effective in pvp? Master gives you a KD for all the weps so i was wondering if that would be very worth it for a swordsman interested in PvP.

Yes...... I don't know how any swordsman would pvp without it. You also need BE'd clothing with bonuses to intimidate and warcry. Also pick up the dirty fighting line so you have 3 delay attacks. All are on different timers.

Master brawler bonuses are amazing i can say that 
Having a nice kd at 22m and warcrying for 20sec delay and 60sec duration intimidates rock
