Thread: Does Counter attack stack????

hhhm i just woundering if i get master cabineer and master sowerdsman will the counter attack stack


im asking this becose alot of people on the fancer bords agree or disagree that pistoleer / fancer doge works


well anywhys does it work?

One thing I heard, slightly off topic, but about counter attack, does intimidate kill the counterattack benefit? That would be a bummer if that were the case. Does it kill dodge and other stuff as well or just counterattack?

the numbers stack, You'll only have on Counter attack mod number....as for the actual effect....hehe Who knows

Read the pistoleer and fencer forums. All the FOTM pistoleer/fencers just discovered last patch that dodge no longer stacks. There is no reason why CA should be any different.

Yes counterattack "stacks" but it maxes at +125 or so.


Counterattack acts as a sort of dodge type move, only instead of simply stopping the attack from damaging oneself, it attacks back instantly, with the damage of a non-special attack from whatever your using.


Your combat queue looks like this usually:

my mistake im talking about how counter attack WILL max with new updates, they dont want hybrid defense characters anymore for some reason or another. atm they dont max at all

just another blow against the way the skillpoint and skilltree system was SUPPOSED to work. why don't they just break down and go to a straight up class based system? it's obviously what they want anyways, as they've killed dabbling in every place they see it working.

Yeah, it may suck that it removed part of the customization part of a character, but honestly, if something is unfair and overpowering, it should be nerfed.

There haven't been any confirmations about the nerf. What we do know is that it used to stack, but some are saying its been nerfed. As of right now we have no official word so you might want to wait before picking up carbineer.

I'm personally wondering if they have or are planning on nerfing the melee/range defense stacking too.
