Also, when you're listening to/watching an entertainer, you clap while still holding your weapon, thereby stabbing yourself in the chest, while still enjoying thesong and dance number...

i think it would be awesome to have scabbers (or what ever) like on belts and bandoliers not just for swords and knives, but for guns also

Although it's just a small polish issue I'd like to see this added after every class feels that they have been balanced fairly.

Too bad that will be never.

I don't think its a minor issue. The devs obviously consider the visual aspect of SWG to be very important, and I think they'd agree that scabbards and sheathes are just too **edit** cool to leave out.

Think about it....your there in you full suit of black composite armor, with a huge power hammer in one hand resting on your shoulder....no one will mess!

I know there is plenty of more pressing stuff in this game that needs fixing--but here is something i noticed:

Everyone holds their melee weapons the exact same way--in one hand, parallel to the ground.

If you stood around holding a powerhammer or heavy cleaver like that all day--your forearms would be bigger around than your waist.

I know actually giving us scabbards is a loooong way off (if ever)--but would it be so hard to let us rest our giant weapons on our shoulders or something?

I know this is by far not the game breaking issue of the month--but what do you think?

ooooh my personal favorite is meditating w/ my sword sticking through my torso

Or using /kowtow, /thank, or /salute--and sticking my sword right through my face.

Hmmm...Conclusive proof that Popeye was really a Master Heavy Swordsman?

Haha yeah, I do /salute all the time and end up hitting myself in the face. I try to remove my hammer beforehand but I don't always remember. I usually use some sort of painful emote afterwards.

I doubt it would really be that hard for them to change the idle stance, but I wouldn't expect them to change the clapping or meditating pose as they would have to change the animations for many of the other weapons in the game to be consistent.

Yes, my Katana most definetly needs a sheath that I can wear around my belt or across my back. Of course just being able to hold it across my shoulder would be good enough. I mean honestly, im stabbing people every 15 seconds in towns. =\
