Thread: Are there any good DOT weapons lootable for us?

Like with the pikeman its so easy to find good DOT weaps, but swordsman? I cant seem to find any at all... do they exist?

If you finish the imp themepark good ol'Darth Vader gives you an excellent 2 handed sword with bleed and the usage is 9999 and trust me the bleed works and its very good.

gammorean battle axe-jabba theme park...grooved 2 handed curved sword-imp theme park......... 
my favorite is "so and so has challenged you to a duel"....equit gamorean battle axe../duel.../melee2hhit3.../endduel...have a good day

I got a two sided battle axe from the Jabba themepark that is weak on damage, but does disease damage, 5000 uses. I use it in area attacks with the tougher mobs, then switch over to my hammer (198-716 base dmg) to finish the job. Even with the weapon delays, this works well for DOT. But we need more drops of that kind for sure, with better base damage. I would so love a fire sword that sets people on fire with the memory of my blade... as they burn into oblivion. Wow. That was kind of dark.

I would really like to see either smugglers or weaponsmiths be able to craft or add to poison DoT weapons. It is not wholly unthinkable as many assasins and such use poison on their weapons. I think bladed weapons are a good place for these types of DoTs too. However, with all poisons either from weapons or from CMs, they need to provide more defense against such attacks. I mean is a gas mask totally unheard of for this level of technology. With the cries to end DoT weapons and CMs I fell like nerfing those things is not the answer, but providing ways to defend them other than a doc is a good idea.
But I agree I would like to see more two-handed loot drops and a DoT would be a nice feature. I cant say that I have looted a two-handed weapon ever.

there were 2 exceptional 2h dot weapons auctioned off on intrepid last week.
one was a 600str health poison, the other was a 300 str mindfire.

Strangely enough I got my grooved sword with bleed DOT from Rebel theme park
But other than that , nope. Did the NS cave for the first time solo, got 2 lances, 1 of them an NS with Disease DOT

Using a disease DOT for PvE is pointless. Don't waste your time.
Using a disease DOT in PvP is almost equally pointless, unless it's a mind disease you're using to take someone out of the fight for more than 30 seconds.

Well all my PvP duels last at least 1 minu that is against a Master LS and some other junk jedi....fought a master LS today..that one lasted 4 minutes and he was down 2/3 force pool. MY DOT LVA helped a abit. (mind poison 150) Now if I could gethold of that mind fire taht sold on intrepid
