Thread: Stacked Defenses?

I was told that you can not stack defenses. So does this make Master Swords/ Master Fencer or TKA useless? I would like to try Master Swords / 4-4-0-4 TKA for the defenses from TKA but if that is not going to work I guess not.
Any info you have or template suggestions welcome. I'm very new to the game and just learning. Thx

you can stack everything up to +125, every point after that is wasted. but certain defenses (dodge, counterattack, block) only work while holding a certain weapon (pistols/1h, carbines/2h, and rifles/pikes respectively). melee/ranged and status defenses work regardless of weapon held.

Great, so the defenses in the 2nd tree (defense against dizzy, and so on) and the defenses in the 4th tree (ranged and melee) would help me a great deal?

well, you don't need the 4th box of balance conditioning unless you want KD2, there's no defenses there. but other than that, yes, they will help.

Damn are you serious? I got master swordsman and some Fencer including the line for dodge and it's not doing me any good? lol been wasting skill points this whole time.
