Swordsman Archive

I am just about to master Swordsman and am looking for some advice on what other professions to add to it.

I have never done a melee profession before, so do not really know how it all works yet.

I am looking purely to do PvE (until Combat Balance).

My alt is a master doc so I am sorted for buffs.

My reasoning for trying swords was I was fed up with being ineffective against high end mobs with pistols and carbines.

What should I throw in the mix? I have read threads suggesting rifleman or doc. Which is better in fighting against Nightsisters and/or Krayts?

If you could give some reasoning behind suggestions that would be much appreciated.

I would suggest Rifleman. I think having ranged with mele is a great idea. Seeing how you have a doc with your alt, I think you would be set with that. Some might say keep it all mele and get some fencer and/or TK. It is up to you. Good luck.

i would go with rifleman and master brawler. you should be able to solo anything as far as pve goes

either master brawler for the speed bonus or dabble in ranger to actually FIND the mobs

I've been running template ideas through my head for a couple days now. I've come up with Master Sword and TKA, Fencer 3400, Novice Medic and Scout. Probably shouldonly keep TKAfor meditation but I don't feel like wasting a ton of work that I've spentlevelingit up. Scout, I want to be able to harvest.
