Hey, all,
Well after a few months off looking for greener pastures of other MMORPGs that weren't all that great, and the urging of some friends, I've resubscribed. If you old vets don't mind, could you enlighten me a bit?
1) What's the deal with master brawler abilities now? When I left there was talk of a change to warcry and some of the other specials. Did that happen?
2) I've read a bit about the genosian caves and the corellian corvette. Our weapons of choice are still the Scythe, Hammer, and Curved right? Are the range mods still borked? Is the Krayt quest for the Scythe schematic still available? Are Scythes decently available for sale now or still very rare as they were when I left?
3) Is doc/swordsman still an effective combo for PvE soloing? Or should I go Rifelman, Brawler, Swordsman, with novice med instead?
4) And finally, can swordsman still solo the big junk (Night Sisters, Dungeons, etc..) or did we get a big damage and HAM nerf as was rumored when I left?

The mission is still available, and can be done twice thanks to the Tatooine Record Keeper, there is a sticky post above with everything you need to know.
3) Is doc/swordsman still an effective combo for PvE soloing? Or should I go Rifelman, Brawler, Swordsman, with novice med instead? Sure, many do...Im MSword MTK with some fencer and novice medic...gives me great defenses, the wonderufl meditate ability, the power of sword, and a heal with a nice stimb when needed. Its not the "uber" template, but I like it.
4) And finally, can swordsman still solo the big junk (Night Sisters, Dungeons, etc..) or did we get a big damage and HAM nerf as was rumored when I left? Sure can...Nightsisters, Geonosian dungeon, Enraged Rancors and as long as you are buffed and have some Brandy and Canape/Ahrisa you are set.

Thanks for the reply Maxx. I'm so glad to know things haven't changed THAT much for swordsman while I was foolishly away...

Ok so in another thread Etozae said,

Uh...what the heck does this mean? Mandalorian armor is in now? I've seen the thread on the Hack but thought it was proposed, its droppable via schem now? What are DE-10s? There is BH specific armor other than Mandalorian?And what in the world is DWB?

yes - mandalorian armor is in the game.
to make it you need to loot some new armor (blacksuns) and then take it to the death watch bunker (DWB) and complete a quest. the dungeon is planned as hard dungeon, so bring friends - lots of em.
the executioners hack a a new axe for swordsmen. the scythe is still WAY better, but the hack locks goddamn cool.
the DE-10 is a new pistol. the hack and de10 schems drop in the DWB.
another note on the DWB.
the lowest mob there has medium armor and 30kish HAM. 80k+ mobs are common and almost every room got a 200k ham heavy armored SuperBattleDroid waiting for you.
