Swordsman Archive

I am TKA now, and debating about going back to swordsman, which i like as well. I know swordsman is tops for the pve side of things as far as hunting is concerned (imho), but which do you all find is better concerning the harder stuff like corvette/dw/ns elders and that kind of loot mobs?

tka is useless aginst an NS elder, they have 100% kin resistance, only damage types that can hurt them is energy and blast. So i would sugest swordsman since a powerhammer does blast damage

The only time ive used TKA instead of my scythe is when my scythe was close to breaking or i needed to tank something heavy, since TKA seems a little better for tanking a mob and doing no damage

i would say swordsman

second damage type, high DPS targeted attack, area posturedown/dizzy with good DPS, medium AP

next question is, i have enough points for either 4000 TKA or 0040 fencer. Which should I choose. I like the idea of having +60 to dizzy, but being able to heal poison is nice too. What are your suggestions?

btw this char is NOT for pvp. its for hunting and killing high end mobs like vette etc

vk's are ap-1 . most high level mobs are either medium or heavy armor rating . your damage per second will take a major hit with vk's . you will definately be better of with swordsmen ap-2 weapons .

if you are looking for a template to solo high end stuff, use this:

i can solo pretty much anything except for elders, krayts, sbd's, etc.
