I've been away from the game for a while (about 7 month's) and I just recently got the itch to start playing again... I just made it through novice swords and I'm at 0-0-0-2 right now... Getting xp is a little slow, I tried my luck with a solo group doing Mokk missions and I got OWNED... And that was with 80% kinetic 70% everything else comp armor and a full buff! Any advice on what to do? Am I too weak yet? Or do I just really suck? Go easy one me, the last time I really was into this game you could still find real group's of people to go hunting with... And I wish someone would have told me if I die I lose my buff......I would have ran sooner!

I would wait until you're 2 or 3 boxes away from master. Till then, do huurtons and quenkers.

Heh Alot Has Changed But You Dont Suck Its Like This For Everyone When They Start Just Hand Out With Quenker's And Naughty Hurrtons...Their You Best Bet.

Youll Get Better As You Progress.

One Thing To Give You A Tip Is Get The Speed Tree First.

SPEED Is Good.

Wait Till You Get Better You Wont Need Armor.

Silent'Bob ~ Pikeman
'Jay' ~ Bounty Hunter
Nileuz ~ Dark Jedi Knight
All of my accounts are now inactive. They will not be reactivated until SOE fixxes their act.

Here is what I would do......you have 0002. Get 0012 first so you get spin attack two. Then start up the speed tree untill you get 0113. Level up to there with quenkers. Then buy yourself a scythe and if you want money you can now do mokks without getting pwned or you can do higher level quenkers and pikets and continue up the speed tree. After that you can do whatever but that is the best way to start imo.

Ithink the reason your getting owned is because you currently have no melee damage mitigation.

Just to explain a little, with damage mitigation 1, damage is cut by 40% before it hits your armor, i seem to remember getting hit for 200+ last time i tried janta with no mitigation, now at master i get hit for 20 a time..(melee mitigation 3 cuts 60% or 80% of the damage i think)i'd recommend getting the melee mitigation asap killing huurton stalkers (10200 mission from the outpost) as soon as you can, it really helps out with the janta

also since they brought back NPC specials and weapons they do a LOT more damage, not seen any janta with a stun baton yet but maybe its possible that this is why it happened?
