Thread: Giving up Swordsman.

I have been a swordsman since November of last year. I oringinally started my first character as a Marksman and went to rifleman. I got tired of that and rerolled about in November of last year as a new character and picked up brawler. I decided to go Swordsman mainly because I have a real life interest in swordsmanship.
Over the course of the last year as a swordsman I have experienced the ups and downs of the profession. High HAM costs for specials, the days before the scythe blade, thenerf of head hit from a powerful bleed attack to a minor annoyance,ect. But overall I could not have picked a better profession to play as. It served me very well for a long time. I remember when the scythe was finally introudced. It was almost an answer to my prayers. A kentic weapon with high damage and a pretty decent attack speed. It definalty far out paced the curved sword which was the default weapon when you encounter an opponenet with high balstprotection or you wanted to use a faster weapon that the Power hammer.
Ireally do think that Swordsman isone of the best combat classes out there. I enjoyedmy time as a swordsman and the community on these forms was pretty good. Butit is time to move on to new things. I want to give Bounty Hunter a try before I devote myself entirely to becoming a jedi. Who knows I may have a chace tocome back to swordsman before I finish questing in VoA. Three more phases and a load of grinding togo lol. It has been a blast though.

Well, if you wanna give BH a try and youre serious about it dont give up swords because atm only BH melee templates cand stand a chance to a knight or even a padawan with 4xx4/x4x4/xx44 LS.
I recommend you one of these:
1) BH3000/Pistoleer 0044/MPike
2) BH3000/Pistoleer 0044/MS
3) BH3000/Pistoleer 0044/MFencer
4) BH3000/Pistoleer 0044/TKM
I tried all of them even with variations with Medic and you should pick the one which fits your battlegear. If you have good 2h attach and weapons, 2) is the best. If you have godly pikes 1) its a jedi killer. For starting/poor players 4) its the best.
Good luck with jedis, PM me if you need to talk about hunting jedis. I killed 52 (hunted solo) before Iswitched my char to swords completely.

good luck, always nice to see more bounty hunters hehe. but remember how much cooler you look with a sword than with an LLC.
