First off, I would like to say that there are naysayers as much as there are yaysayers on these boards. It's very entertaining to read, and normally I would not post, but I have an honest question. Is there any special ability that Swordsman get that cause a dizzy? I have scoured the board, and the lack of evidence supporting this pretty much proves to me that this is not the case. If not, I would like to make a propsal to all you erstwhile swordsmen.

A true, stuborn samurai would not flee from battle under any circumstances. However, a clever, wily veteran of the world would quickly realize that performing a mind bleed and running away is clearly the best policy. I am 0/2/0/1 in Swordsman currently, and I have won dozens of duels against over confident opponents, most of whom don't realize they are bleeding and stop to type derisive taunts as I flee the scene of my crime, all the while I dodge and weave and hide in cantinas and medcenters and buildings to avoid their wrath while their brains slowly bleed out their ears. Cowardly? Perhaps. Effective? You **edit** well better believe it. I carry a power hammer just for that situation. I have killed my best friend, Vylin Vaynard the Teras Kasi master, a few times with such a blow to the face, providing I get lucky and his dizzy/knockdown/beatdown technique falters somewhere.

But this is not my suggestion, any of you fine gentlemen could figure out such an easy set of techniques. My suggestion is to invest 9 points into One Handed weapon skills. This will allow you to carry a sliced 1H Curved Sword, the speed of which will be very, very low, and attempt to get it crafted for maximum speed, for the damage is irrelevant. 1H Curved Swords also have a bonus to hit, instead of the typical penalty with melee weapons. With 9 points in One Handed Sword, you will gain the skill 1H Dizzy. Some people see where I am going with this, some don't. You then are given the same tools a TKA is, albeit with a bit of a luck factor. Strike your opponent with a dizzy, and you are then free to switch to your 2H weapon of choice and do a sweep, or use 1H or 2H lunge to force them to kneeling. Mind bleed them, watch them attempt to stand up, fall over dizzy, and then you can sit down and enjoy the sight of their brains leaking onto the pavement.

Feel free to flame me and tell me how this is a waste of 9 points. I need that to fuel my determination to make Swordsman work, and make Vylin the Teras Kasi master suffer. Feel free to offer constructive criticisms of my idea as well. I need that to fuel my desire as well.

In fact, I will help.

A) A Teras Kasi master will do exactly what I just said, but he will do it 5x as fast and do it more accurately on average. There is no avoiding that fact, however, with creative macro writing (meaning you time everything, write your macro with the correct pauses in it such that it switches weapons at the right times and does the moves without the possibility of user error), you might just get lucky and hit him first, or he might miss one of his moves, or something. If not, oh well, at least you TRIED.

B) Bleed and flee doesn't work on an open field. This is true. Deal with it, you're the dumbass with a sword on a battlefield. I can't help that. The Japanese eventually started using guns.

C) I don't have 9 points. Well buck up, buddy, when mounts and vehicles come into effect, you can use the 15 points from Scout to help you out. If you STILL don't have 9 points.. Good luck.

D) U r an ideot Guinglin nd U suxxor hardcore.. Come see me on Wanderhome, and you can see my testicles. ( No kids, that's not an ancient Greek play. )

I hope this post helped someone. And I hope it's not a complete waste of space, too. Good luck swordsmen, and good hunting.
