I thought I was just getting one point for everything, but it could just be the power hammer

Hey Guys

I was just wondering if anyone else has been getting 1 point of combat XP on every kill,even red con mobs.Every mob that i have killed with my PH has only given me 1 point of combat xp, now when i switch weapons(as in a different class)i get full weapon and combat xp.Anyone else experience this problem?

I have gotten the same thing with rifle, now 1 point combat xp from mobs I used to get more from, so I think it has to do with being a Master not the weopon.

I think it has something to do with the xp cap. I was running around as 4-0-0-0 novice brawler attempting to horde as much xp as possible with my axe. I hit 2000 (2x that of the 1000xp required for two handed I) and stopped getting two handed xp and only 1 pt. combat xp. So it might be that. Since your post says you are a master swordsman you won't be collecting any more two handed xp after a certain point. Don't know if that makes sense but that seems to be the case. At least for me.

Here is what I think the problem is. The comat exp is always 1/10 of the weapon exp you get. When you get to the cap for experience of the type of weapon you are using you will no longer get any more experience. This messes up the the amount of combat experience you get because 1/10 of zero is zero. Since you no longer gain eperience, technically you should no longer be gaining combat experience.

yeah, the experience maxes out at 450k, for the general exp like two handed, or unarmed, ect, dont know what the exp cap on combat exp is though... but one thing i do know is combat exp is 10% of any exp from the kill. so if you kill a large thing and get 4000 exp, you would get 400 combat exp.

i know StormtrooperCaptain mentioned it as a fractional form like 1/10 but i figured since fractions are confusing for somepeople, i would mention it in the percentile version.

Thanks for the input but i need to mention that i have been maxed on 2hand weapon XP since the begining of Aug.Two days before the major patch i was killing Giant Baz Nitches and receiving around 450 combat xp per kill.And now after the patch im only receiving 1 combat XP.Another thing i need to mention is that i have asked some of my friends who were master of their profesion and they are still receiving full combat XP.So if anyone else has any input please help.Thanks =)
