I have confirmed that it now works...well, at least Warcry2 works on creatures now. I haven't been able to test more extensively.

Warcry 1 works also.

It also works in pvp.

And...it's area effect.

It costs quite a bit to use if your secondaries aren't enhanced, but an instant 10 second delay on all the enemies in the area is insanely useful.

For example, if you do dizzy and posture change followed bywarcry...guess who's on their back for 10 seconds guarenteed.

Also note that, like Intimidate, Warcry has a range of 20m.

Awesome, I'll have to test this in duels. Warcry 2 duration is 20 seconds...imagine how powerful that could be in PvP.

Except the last patch they added a 30 second timer on "delay specials", namely, warcry.

wait, how do you get them on their backs (other than lunge2)? I can posture them down, but that's about it =/

I'm working towards Master Brawler to go with the Master Swordsman that I am two skill boxes away from retrieving. Does Lunge 2 actually knock people down? how effective is it? an inquiring mind will take this question off the air, thanks.

If someone is dizzied (two hand hit 3 or area attack 3) and then tries to change posture they will fall on their back unless they pass a rather difficult save.

So if you're lucky and score both parts of area attack 3 you can put someone on their back (since AA3 does posture change AND dizzy) but usually I tend to use two hand hit 3 til I see them dizzy then lunge.

With the new warcry (warcry 2 is 20 seconds by the way, AE, and also works in pvp, tested) you can put someone on their back and then pop that off to keep them there for a loooong time while you slice and dice.

Granted, any melee class has access to the warcries, just get yours off first.

Well yippy frickin doo! If the duration of warcry2 lasts 20 seconds as mentioned in an above post, that means that they are delayed some 20 seconds, followed by 10 seconds of non delay, and then you can hit them with it again. I must say that this sounds wonderfully....evil.

"So I swoop upon the foe, and I will slay,
I will hew them into pieces, I will dash them into dust;
Like Baal in his strength, on their rearward, lo! I fell,
And I killed them, none escaped me, and I slew, and slew, and slew."

Actually. You dont have to imagine how WC2 works in PVP. I've never lost in a melee fight to this day even vs TKM (Im TK 0/4/4/3) + Master Brawler. Lunge2, Warcry2 5 seconds later, 5 seconds of downtime + 20 seconds of delay. = 25 seconds. 5 seconds left till you can Lunge2 again, which is a 5 second window then the guy can hurt you as opposed to your full 25 seonds you can hurt him. And after 5 seconds, you can lunge2 him, and theres only 5 seconds left on the Warcry2 timer which starts the loop all over again

Theres a lot of othre variables like HAM And failure rates and all that so its never sure-fire. Balances itself out that way. Plus, its the same arguement as BH. If you want to be uber in x combat type invest more points. BHrs invest a crapload of SP to get their uberness, you want to be the best in your type of melee supplement your class with Master Brawler. You can't whine unless you have Master Brawler + your elite melee class and are still having serious issues.
