Have you soloed krayts since they got the huge HAM boost, or are these kills from before the last big patch?

Yes. You need to wear 70% kinetic resistant ubese armor and get doc buffs. I also advise chef food and entertainer buffs for mind. You can't do it with swordsman alone. You need special abilities like having a pet tank for you, feigning death, 20 second delay attacks, etc. With the right template the following classes can solo krayts: Commandos, Combat Medics, Carbineers, Creature Handlers, Smugglers, Riflemen, and of course Swordsman.

Here is one done last Sunday. People saw what I did and congratulated me and offered 2 million for pearls.... However, I just got 10 scales off of this one. I later grouped with a Master Rifleman and we split 10 tissues.

Do you think a master Brawler, Creature handler, and Swordsman would be able to solo one? 'Cause that's what I plan on being...

I once had Master Brawler, Master CH, Master Swordsmanat the same time. I tried it and killed a canyon krayt with some assistance from a newbie rifleman who was leveling up. However, you will not be able to take on the giant or ancientkrayts this way. I dropped ch after that hunt. Ch is better for soloing if you are a ranged combat class with warning shot. There are countless other templates that enjoy soloing high level content without the mind drain associated with using pet stims. It was so funny watching a combat medic solo one by stacking4 poisons and 4 diseases on it and warning shot it away over and over again when it got close. I also saw a carbineer bleed a Nightsister elder and then spam charge shot over and over again. He could have solo'd it if he was doc buffed. He later ran away and left Dathomir. The classes mentioned above are typically PvE classes that aren't very good in PvP. Of course Rifleman are pretty l33t these days...

You think I'd be better off giving up CH and going for more elite brawle professions instead(maybe Tera Kasi and Fencer). I've been contemplating that, but I really enjoy using my pets too. Agh, the decisions!

Get master brawler and the first box of dirty fighting and you will be able to take anything down if you are properly buffed/equipped. The game might become a bit less fun when you have soloed all the tough creatures, so I am not sure that I recommend it. Also, killing those 300-500k creatures takes a long time, so you might want to have a good movie/book at hand.

I would pick up Smuggler and Master Brawler. Ch sucks now. Master it in case it comes up for a holocron and then dump it.
