Thread: That badass two-handed sword we were tol dwe would get??

Anyways there is a sticky post at the top of this page about a picture on image dumpof an odd looking two-handed sword. I have seen them many times before, by swordsman trainers, swg preveiw movies, nightsisters and Nyms Strong Hold. We all know that we will never get the sythe, but if you read that sticky post DEV "Thunderheart" had said that in January, being this month, it would start dropping as a loot and weaponsmiths would get a limited schematic. Well last time I checked January is almost over and there was nothing about it in the Publish #6 notes. So, I'm just wondering why devs have to get our hopes like that, and even post that its coming, then WHAM!!! right in the nuts!! Just my two cents, and I know that I'm flaming, but I really don't care because I want that sword!!! Give it to me now!!!!

I won't flame you. I'd like to see the two-handed sword soon too...

I've learned to put very little weight on any dates given by any SoE employee. This is expecially evident in regards to downtime/patching time.

I'm working my butt off trying to be the first person to confirm and build a scythe schematic. So far I've found genosian sword and reinforcement cores and schematics and I've even built one of the cores. The stats of the core itself aren't that amazing, although it does have an enhancement slot, something regular cores do not. Possibly with looted components it could be very good.
I've made it nearly all the way to the final boss (Acklay from EP2) a few times now. Hopefully tomorrow will be the day I nab him. I'm hoping he's got something. The scythe could just be a loot from any of several quests that have upgraded loot now. Just my luck, it'll be the NS/SMC quests (I did those already and can't reset them).

W00T!!Acklay from episode 2!This is gonna be awesome.....hey Gabriel can you post some pics of the geonosian swords and especially that Acklay?This is gonna be so cool!!!!!!!Lok slike the devs are finally understanding to make the game fun!
