Thread: Question for TC Swordsmen about the new Chef Buffs

Hey guys.

I have always been negating the HAM costs of my PH with a combo of Ryshcate and Tat Sunburn to handle the day to day running of this avatar. Awhile ago i even mitigated my stats to enjoy the effects of this food to a greater extent (dropped str and stamina to minimum and put the points in mind)

Are the new chef buffs a problem for our HUGE HAM costs or can they still be kept under control?

I appreciate any info on this matter as I am concerned I will now not be able to swing thisRed sapping PH without Spice and Doctor Buffs after the patch.

You should be able to keep them under control, since we don't really destroy our hams that quick like TKM. But i'm not really sure about it, i too would like some info.

Remember that they're also changing the way HAM costs work. I know how you feel though, I have at least 20 crates of various foods in my backpack at all times and I rely quite a bit on them. I hope it works out for the best.

I agree that doctor/musician buffs are a great way to go and I do utilize them when i am going against other players in a skirmish or tackling some large animal, but food is what I use for thetimes where I do more damage to myself than the enemy I am facing (i.e. the day to day grinding critters/ harvesting meat for a friend).

Also, the change to the ham costs for combat is a valid point, however, I also realize that the Ham changes are part of the gradual process going into combat that started with the rebalancing of animals awhile ago.

My concern is the interim between chef changes and the eventual HAM bar combat changes.

I just hope i do not have to rely on a doctor to buff me everytime i wish to go out and hit a tortur lair.

With that said i will try reading/posting in the chef and TC boards to see if anyone has more info on this question. If i find anything out I will let the other diet conscious swordsmen know.
