MELEE powerus look like strange knives - you just take them out of a crate and slide them over the weapon.

you will then see the extra powerup properties in the examine window.

this is usually a ham saving, speed, min damage ect ect with a LIMITED amount of uses.

this also increases the decay of the weapon.

tapers or skill tapes are items that - when you put them on clothing - give you a skill mod that enhances your abilitys.

if a skill tape has more than one MODIFIER or MOD then the HIGHEST MOD will be applied and the others are lost.

you cannot stack 2 of the same mods on one article of clothing.

the largest bonus you can get from clothing or armor is +25.

hope that helps

Definitely. Thanks

One question I do have though is, I have a BE jacket that is +17 Warcry, +17 Intimidate and I think +4 heal wounds, +4 heal damage.

Now I know about the +25 thing, but how in the heck do I determine what is what with that jacket?

And I know the Devs are inway over there heads with all the bugs in this game, but it would be nice to have a limit on the amount of skill enhancements you can have onBE clothing (so it wouldn't go above 25, which is a major question that I have seen on the boards). I'd just be interested to see where the 25 points really goes when I have this jacket on!

I see a lot of clothing out there with things like +15 warcry and intimidate, but these aren't all from looted tapes are they ? Do BioEngineers get the ability to make tapes that do this ?

Bio engineers can make tissues that are used in the clothest making process that add to abilities. All modifiers on such clothing apply.
