I know...i stole the line from our Fencer correspondent, but the aim and reasoning is the same:

i think the timing is right for me to step back as Swordsman correspondent and give one of you guys the chance to fill in this position.

Therefore i would like to ask you to please discuss in this thread who you would like tosee as new correspondent.

I would like to thank you all for your input and help in the past months and moreso would like to express my respect for the patience you have shown and the respectful way you have been communicating with me and between eachother....please go on doing so.

As you all know the next couple of months will bring rather important changes to our profession and i'm looking forward to discuss all these changes on this board with you and the new correspondent.

Thanks for everything and happy wielding

Btw, the first person that came to mind was Henzo, but I don't see him post too much anymore. Probably because most of the topics are bs anyway.

Thanks for your kind words guys.

And yes...once a swordsman, always a swordsman....i guess not even a holo could change that

So no more suggestions so far ?

I think all of you (and some others) who have posted in this thread so far would be very suitable for this position. I would also like to point out, that we could maybe ask Gabe if he wants to do the job ?

He knows all our issues, is familiar with the profession, is also a weaponsmith, knows quite a bit about game- and combat-mechanics and having seen his posts on correspondent board, i know that he would try getting the max out for us.

I understand though that some of you would of course also like to get a chance at this, so please send your application to

I will also post a link to this thread in my farewell-thread on correspondent board.

Disclaimer: Please note that above suggestion was purely personal, that i wasn't approached by anyone with it, that nothing has been decided, that there is no conspiracy behind it and that hopefullyin the end we will have a correspondent everyone is happy with.

Happy wielding and see you ingame and on this board

I think I'd like to try to apply for correspondant. I'm not that well known, but I like to crunch numbers and test skills, especially for Swordsman. I've played the game since a month after launch and been through my share of professions and none has been as much fun as Swordsman. I'll stick with it until the end of my days on SWG. I also think that I have enough verbal skills to articulate the needs and desires of the Swordsman as a community.

I'd like to hear any thoughts you all might have on this and I'd also like to know what information I should send to SOE in order to apply for correspondant.
