Better? What kind of question is that? They are probably better at some things, and much worse at others. Give us some more information about what you consider better, and we can let you know.

Yeah I am debating and trying to figureout the same thing....I am currently a TKM and 1.4.4.4 in master Swordsman...hehe.

I have to say i like TKM better, but it is only because of meditate. I can do without the KD (although it is nice), but that meditate is sooooo nice.

I will have a hard time deciding which to keep....I used to think TKM was the master pve guy...but that blast damage has someting to say for it....and blast can help you some in pve on occasion....

I agree with Kyle on only tkm vs only swords Tkm wins. its true that tkm just dizzy + Kd and start giving the swordsman a good spanking. TKM is good in pvp obviously...but since they are not attribute specific melee combatant they sometimes take long to defeat their mark. Swordsman are mind attribute specific and mind is not usually accessible to heal, they can kill faster than a tkm could. The only thing a tkm does better than swordsman in PvE is those damned lairs....it takes me forever to blow up the lair being a master swords...with tkm...its more faster...

I am Master Swordsman/TKM/Master Brawler/Medic 3-0-0-0

TKM's take lairs out faster because of speed. A Master Swordsman with some simple skill tapes and a competent hammer could equal that easily.
