I am 0,4,4,4 right now. Im getting so frustrated with it. I cant solo my missions, level 23. I always get slaughtered while killing the first target. Im thinking the power-hammer is too slow and misses too much, and maybe thats why its taking 4 specials to kill one person while the others just blast away on me and kill me. What are your strategies for doing missions solo?

Power Hammer is too slow unless your a master for PvE, use a two handed curved sword.

By the sounds of it, you're taking Faction Missions... Don't.

Faction missions are our weak point, in my opinion. Even with a sword, our low defense causes us to soak up too many hits.

Either use doctor buffs and armor for faction missions, or try creature lair missions. Even though their lairs spawn more creatures after you kill the initial few that are guardingit, you can give yourself time to heal in between.

Also, try going up the offense line first if you ever have to master Swordsman again.

Your probably killing yourself with specials.

1: Get buffed.

2: Migrate your stats to the three mind pools.

3: Get some good food and drink. (Ryschate+Breath of Heaven make ham costs nill.. as in *zero*).

4: Get buffed.

5: Get buffed.

Also a powerhammer with a speed slice is 100x more effective then some junky kinetic 2h sword. You should be able to get a 3.5/3.6 speed powerhammer at 465 damage for relatively cheap. Don't settle for some crap sword that 90% of mobs will resist 25% and up.

Yeah, Faction missions will eat you alive, with all the blaster hits our defence just buckles under the weight.

Try fighting other creature mobs so you can use damage mitigation to your advantage.

Ive also noticed that CoB 'seems' to only work while you using 'normal' hits, eg - no specials.

A good set of armour is also nice, but buffs are pritty much essential till they sort our HAM costs and defence.

your main problem is stormtroopers have a higher blast resist than kinetic resist

examine examine examine.

get a 2 handed cleaver and carve up some stormies.

thats the reason they eat you alive they have higher blast resist.

i go to the talus imperial outpost and clear out all the stormies there pretty easy with a cleaver or 2 handed axe.

course lunge 2/headhit/headhit helps a lot.
